It shows the status; current duration, end and start position and length, of the time needed to extract the track. Talking about the functioning it’s easy to operate. For taking out a clip you need to select the open button for choosing the source DVD file. You can also play and pause the video, after pausing when it is played; it resumes the last position. Even the video can be stopped that would start playing from the beginning. ‘New selection’ enables cancelling the last one and selecting a new starting and ending point. Clicking the ‘Set Start’ option marks the point from where the extraction would start. And to mark the ending where the extraction will stop, click ‘Set End’. The selection can be saved by you through ‘Save Selection’ options and your clip as many times as you want. It also enables you to view the clip with full screen option. And you can also go out of this mode and do the volume settings etc simply by right click. You also have the ‘Exit’ option to move out from the program. This software can also check the space on the disk for you to save the file and also cut it and store into two CDs.
